While the leather comes soft a has a broken in feel that is good, after using this wallet just 9-10 days threads are coming out of the edges and it looks very frayed. On the upside I would say this is softer,lighter, lower in cost and easier to fill with cards, receipts etc than a Saddleback Leather wallet I can tell that while this might last me six months at best it's just not as strong as a Saddleback. I would have given one star here but the cost differential might make it worth a try for so | Larry Blakely

This is one of the coolest leather bags I have ever owned. The buffalo leather has a texture unlike any other I have felt. While it is rigid and tough, it is also super glassy-smooth to the touch and seems to resist scratches quite well. Beautiful brown color variations throughout the exterior surface from tortoise shell to tiger striping patterns. You could actually set this bag on the floor next to the fireplace and it could stand as room decoration all on its own. And the smell.... better tha | Rachel
